Custom Dowel Pins in Small Quantities
There is no minimum order here. A single pin can be configured, priced and bought online, which is unusual for made-to-order turned parts and is the whole point of the instant quote — no RFQ, no waiting for a quote to come back, no minimum quantity to argue about.
Per-piece pricing falls steeply across the first few quantity breaks and then flattens out. The practical effect is that the gap between one pin and ten is small in total, while the gap between ten and a hundred is large per piece — and past a few hundred pieces the per-piece figure barely moves at all.
That is worth planning around. If a prototype needs four pins and production will need forty, ordering forty in one go is often barely more expensive in total than ordering four twice. The price table on any specification page shows exactly where that crossover sits for a given size and material.
